Since you’re a diehard BassParader you know we’ve been doing regular posts from the world of SCIENCE. Why? Because some interesting stuff comes from that side of fishing, and you barely hear about it…unless you’re Brian Waldman.
Brian – whose made a local-ish name for himself with his blog bigindianabass.com – makes it his bidness to dig, coax and beat out all things scientifical even remotely having to do with the bass of the large and small mouths. So rather than us duplicate his effort, he’s bringing his toys over to the BassParade sandbox.
“Reading through scientific journal articles can be about as exciting as watching wet paint dry,” he says. “It’s much more fun talking about tournament scandals, trout wars, and what the average bass angler eats for breakfast. Fortunately, I was blessed with a dry, boring personality that’s suited for the former task….
“As a regular science contributor to BassParade, I look forward to sparing the sanity of Jay and the guys so they can focus on continuing to find those more ‘interesting’ topics for all the readers of this site.â€
Of course this means he’s infected with LBV – Largemouth Bass Virus. Same as we all are. Yeah, humans can get it, but it only takes over our lives, doesn’t mess us up more than that.
(We’re looking for more contributors, particularly if you’re opinionated, crazy or need to know everything there is to know about every new bait. If you think you fit one of those categories, can write or have a video camera and have the time, email us at bubbas AT bassblaster.bassgold.com.)
