SICK largie strike vid, Pirch saw bigfoot, Craziest win story ever

Today’s Top 5

Too coo. Anyone heard of this Water Wolf camera?

Cliff Pirch saw bigfoot!

When he’s not bassin’, Cliff guides for elk and apparently he saw bigfoot and it was that tall:

Brent Chapman was planning to hunt with Cliff, but now may need a bigger boat gun.

Craziest win story ever.

From the only Jo-dee:

Damon Meeks and Jay Short went to the Cali Delta TOC derby, took out their punch rod (bought it 4 years ago, never used it before) and caught…100 fish. WHAT? 100 fish on the Delta?? And that’s not even the good part:

> One of the guys had only been to the Delta ONE TIME before (to practice, a month before the event), and the other hadn’t been there in 15 years!

> Before they arrived for the tourney, one guy looked on Google Earth, found a dead-end slough with a dark spot they figured was a deep hole. Went to the spot a month ago and caught a 10! WHAT? Guys fish their whole life here looking for a Delta double digit and…on the first trip??

> They marked the spot as a keeper, went back there on game day to win the TOC and $20 Large. Money quote: “My partner gets all the credit on that one – his state job and sittin’ there on the computer, lookin’ at Google Earth, won us the tournament.”

Top that yo!

Bring back the bass ‘stache!

Mark Menendez and some of the fellers back in the day:

Who’s with me for 2015? I’m ponderin’ the Alex Van Halen fu manchu:

Great blue herons cull too.

Think bassers are the only ones who do it?

Btw, if this heron was in WI or MN it would’ve gotten a ticket hahaha!

> In the mid-1970s, I used to make molds and pour my own plastic worms. As an avid tournament fisherman, I truly believed that creating unique color combinations helped me win several bass tournaments. My favorite combo back then was a red head purple worm that worked great on Lake Travis.

No, what he saw was really G-man hunting in his underwear again. Common mistake… 🙂
