Erie Smallie Fishing: Fair = Good!
Word from the Ohio DNR is that smallmouth bass fishing this year in Lake Erie is “expected to be fair,” with “bass abundance below desired levels.” But – a big but – is that the average size of our favorite brown fish in the lake will be 15-22 inches, meaning 2 to 6 pounds. Dang!
